The Teen Course consists of 24 hours of classroom and 8 hours of
behind-the-wheel instruction which is required by the state of Ohio to get your license if
you are under the age of 18. (Please note that the state of Ohio limits a student to
only four hours of driver education per day!)
All our courses have been approved by the Department of
Public Safety and the Department of Education and meet
all the standards of the Driving School Association of Ohio.
Our classroom
sessions are offered every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday year round and we also
offer day classes at select locations during the summer months. The behind-the-wheel
instruction is offered 7 days a week in both the morning and the evening.

How
to enroll at Heights Driving School II
Come to any classroom 5 to 10 minutes before class and bring the following:
- A parent or guardian
- Photo ID
- Temporary permit (if available - can start classroom without
permit, but must be at least 15 and 5 months)
- A pen or pencil
- You can sign up on any one of the days we have classes
( it does not have to be a Monday!)
It's as easy as that! Feel free to give any one of our locations a call if you have any
other questions. We are more than happy to assist you!
In-Car Lessons
- Driving times can be scheduled after fees are paid in
full, the student has a valid temporary permit, and has attended at least one class.
- The in-car lessons are broken down into four (4) two (2)
hour lessons.
All of our lessons are one on one with a trained and certified
instructor.
Each vehicle is equipped with dual braking systems.
Our fleet of newer model cars are inspected annually by the
State Highway Patrol to ensure that they meet
or exceed all safety regulations.
Your child can be picked up at the home, school or even at work
for the in-car lessons!
Heights Driving School II Inc. is
dedicated in providing top quality drivers education for our young teen
drivers. Safety is always our #1 priority. In fact, we have one of the best
safety records in all of Northeastern Ohio!
Classroom
The required 24 hours of classroom instruction is broken down
into six (6) four (4) hour classes.
All of our classes are numbered one through six, each day being
a different topic.
Our classes recycle every two weeks, so if you happened to miss
a class, you can make up that class in two weeks.
Classes (1) and (4) are always held on Mondays, classes (2) and
(5) are always held on Tuesdays, and classes (3) and (6) are always held on Wednesdays
unless instructed otherwise (except for the Barberton office since those are held on the
weekends).
Your child may also bring in something
to eat and drink to the class (Wednesday night they order out pizza!!!!)
